A note from the founder

I didn't set out to build an education company.
I wanted to find a different way for my son to learn.

Growing up in Serbia, following your curiosity wasn't really encouraged. I was steered toward engineering because it was practical. The things I was naturally drawn to were treated as hobbies - interesting, but not something you built a life around.

So I followed the path that was expected of me.

When my son started school, I began to see something familiar. He was endlessly curious. The kind of child who asked questions about everything and could spend hours exploring a topic that fascinated him. But in school, there was little room for that...

What kids say

Straight from the source.

These are real things real kids have said to their tutors or parents.

"I learned how a lot of things in the world worked. Like motion sensors, and light switches. And how to program a drone."

Kyle, age 7

"Learning with tutors is 100 out of 10."

Wren, age 8

"My tutor is patient with us and I can't believe he comes up with all these projects himself!"

Justin, age 8

Our tutors don't just teach. Over time, they become mentors and buddies your child actually looks up to.

How it works

Three steps, then you're done

1

Tell us what your kid loves or needs help with

Math? Stories? Coding? We start with their curiosity, not a syllabus.

2

We find the perfect match

A local tutor who gets them. One-on-one or with a small group of like-minded kids, close to home.

3

They meet. Magic happens.

In-person sessions in your home or neighborhood. Try different tutors until you find the perfect fit.

Your matches

Not just tutors - enthusiasts who love sharing knowledge

Every tutor on Learning Lot is hand-picked, local, and genuinely excited about what they teach. They don't just teach one thing, they connect the dots across subjects, following your child's curiosity wherever it leads.
